Intro to Bioenergy Systems
Section Info:
Introduction to Bioenergy Systems is an introductory undergraduate survey course of a wide range of bioenergy issues being offered by the Center for Advanced BioEnergy Research (CABER) in conjunction with the Technical Systems Management program. Topics span the entire life cycle of biofuels from feedstock production to end-product utilization as well as issues of policy and sustainability. Class participants will gain a general understanding of the system as a whole as well as various sub-systems and an appreciation for what progress has been made and the challenges that remain. This is an excellent course for those desiring to learn the fundamentals of bioenergy in the U.S.
