The current public health recommendations for the prevention of childhood obesity will be presented and the evidence for efficacy of existing interventions will be thoroughly examined. At the end of the semester, students will work in teams to synthesize the best practices and propose how they can be integrated into an intervention within a transdisciplinary context.

Same as CHLH 531, FSHN 531, HDFS 552, KIN 531, SOCW 571. Approved for both letter and S/U grading. Prerequisite: NUTR 530
