Credit: 3 hours.
Chinese orthography and grammar for language teaching. Teaching Mandarin Chinese in an English speaking environment. Covers the Chinese writing and sound systems, vocabulary, grammar, dialects and review available teaching materials. Course meets for the first six weeks of the semester only.
No graduate credit. Prerequisite: CHIN 441 or equivalent.
