1 hour. Underclassmen introduction to the design of aerospace flight systems (spacecraft section). Freshmen mentees will be matched with upperclassmen mentors in the AE 443 senior design course. Mentees will work with their mentors to perform studies in the principles of systems engineering as they apply to the design process, general design methodology, and the application of these concepts to the initial sizing of either aircraft or spacecraft systems. Prerequisite: Consent of instructor.
