Acoustical Physics of Music

Credit: 4 hours.

Acoustical physics associated with music and musical instruments, propagation of sound waves in and from musical instruments, and the biological physics of human hearing. Investigation of topics via advanced laboratory and data acquisition techniques.

Prerequisite: PHYS 213 and PHYS 214.
