Coral Reef Field Ecology
Section Info:
Topic: Coral Reef Ecology: Belize. A field course to coral reefs in Belize. An introduction to the taxonomic groups, identification, and natural history of the vertebrates and invertebrates that inhabit and form coral reefs. Ecosystem processes and conservation of coral reefs will also be discussed. The field trip to Belize will be Sunday May 12 - Sunday May 19, 2013. Cost of the field trip is estimated to be $1800 and will be borne by the student. Prerequisite: IB 150 and consent of instructor. Student must be able to swim.
