Credit: 3 hours.

Topics covered are very similar to those of GEOL 101. Emphasizes application of quantitative methods in deriving geological knowledge. A weekly computer laboratory is an essential component of the course. Credit is not given for both GEOL 103 and GEOL 100, GEOL 101or GEOL 107.

Students must register for one lab and one lecture section.
