Sexual Orientation and the Law
Section Info:
This course will focus on lively discussion related to cutting edge legal issues involving sexual orientation and the law, such as employment law issues, family law issues, and constitutional law issues. All viewpoints are welcome in this course and a diversity of viewpoints is encouraged. Each student in the course will research a timely legal issue relating to Sexual Orientation and the Law. The entire class will read each paper and discuss it as a class before the end of the semester in order to gain a deeper understanding of the subject as well as research and writing methodology. First Year Discovery Program Course. Registration restricted to first time freshmen. Students should enroll in only one Discovery course.
