An introductory course intended to help students explore the various fields of economics. Presents brief introductions to various faculty members within the Department of Economics at Illinois and an overview of their respective fields. Enrollment limited to undergraduate Economics majors only.

The course may not be added after 4:30pm on August 29th. This class is for declared Economics students in their Sophomore, Junior, or Senior year. *****This class will only meet on certain dates, starting with the first week of class.**** Dates will be emailed to all registered students. Attendance of all meetings is mandatory. The course will provide students with information on careers and graduate school following degree completion. Students will hear from different campus presenters, faculty/staff, and alumni of Economics. This course is always restricted to declared Economics students (we do not offer overrides until you are declared). If you are a dual-degree or dual-major, please email the Economics Department for approval: econug@illinois.edu. The course is required for all students who began college in Fall 2010 or after.
