String-Orchestra Methods and Techniques Workshop This course is intended for Music Education Masters students with at least a year of teaching experience. The course is primarily project- or problem-based driven, meaning that the focus will be on those string music education problems, issues, or topics of interest to you and to the group. The week will include working with a sub-group of string students from the ISYM Middle School Orchestra and observation of their rehearsal with Prof. Bergonzi.

RECORDING TECHNIQUES FOR MUSIC EDUCATORS 2 HOURS CREDIT This two-week course is designed to offer music educators information and initial experience required for improving the quality of recordings and/or sound reinforced performances of your ensembles. Topics will include recording/SR equipment, interconnections, compatibility, preferred microphone placements, methods, formats and accessories, and specific vendor sourse - for a more professional result in representing your choral and/or instrumental ensembles.
