Anatomic, physiologic, pathologic, and pharmacologic considerations in eye diseases and their treatments; instrumentation and methods of study of ocular structure, physiology, and diseases; and laboratories devoted to techniques of examination of the eye and surgical procedures used in treatment of eye diseases.

1 or 2 professional hours (1 hour if taking lecture only; 2 hours if taking lecture and lab); or 3 graduate hours. Prerequisite: Fourth-year standing in veterinary medicine curriculum.
