Prof Practice Seminar II

Credit: 4 hours.

This is the accompanying seminar for the field practicum (SOCW 470). Students will build on knowledge obtained in SOCW 461 to successfully apply their generalist knowledge and skills within the structure of a community agency. As students apply their generalist skills in their internship, the course will support them and guide them in developing the 10 core competencies for social work.

No graduate credit. Prerequisite: SOCW 461; concurrent registration in SOCW 470.
