Euro Union Civil Soc Policy
Section Info:
This course aims at critically analyzing the European Union civil society policy both historically and in the current context. Accordingly, the course starts with laying out the background for the formation and development of civil society policy in theEEC/EU. The course then examines the content and priorities of the EU civil society policy with respect to European integration and enlargement processes as well as in relation to EU?s neighborhood. Finally, the course provides an assessment of the EU civil society policy with a discussion on the ways to improve it. This course is open to graduate students. Undergraduates need prior approval from the instructor to register for this course. This is a 1 cr. hour course and will meet on Feb 6,8,9,10, 11 at 6-8:30PM.
