Reading and translation of selected Chinese texts in the social sciences with emphasis on specialized terminology and prose style.

3 undergraduate hours. 4 graduate hours. May be repeated to a maximum of 9 undergraduate hours, or 12 graduate hours. Prerequisite: Three years of modern Chinese.
