Avian species represent a significant segment of the companion animal population. Their anatomy, physiology, and behavior are substantially different from traditional species. Intended to provide students with the knowledge and skills required a practice clinical avian medicine and surgery. Diagnostic and therapeutic principles, as well as diseases of companion avian species are included.
