Credit: 4 hours.

In-depth, comprehensive introduction to the structure and function of the nervous system. This focus is on systems neuroscience rather than at the cellular or molecular neuroscience. To prepare students for study in a variety of areas in neuroscience at the graduate level, the lectures will supply key, fundamental knowledge in many areas of neuroscience and then progress to an advanced level. The labs will provide a solid, basic knowledge of neuroanatomy and experience working with different neuroscience techniques.

Same as MCB 508 and NEUR 508. Prerequisite: Graduate standing or consent of instructor.
