Fatigue analysis methods for the design of structures and components: stress-life, strain-life, and crack-propagation approaches; multiaxial and high-temperature fatigue; interrelationship among material properties, geometry, and design methodology appropriate for a wide range of mechanical engineering components.
Prerequisite: ME 430.
