Focuses on the dynamics and consequences of Latina/o social movements and public actions in the U.S. Topics might include theories and history of social movements such as labor rights struggles, Latino civil rights movements, immigrant mobilizations, and the efforts of Latina/o communities to address specific local issues.

Prerequisite: LLS 100.
