Meets. 29-MAR-2011 - 5-APRIL-2011. This course is designed to introduce students to community development practices and the participatory approach followed by the East St. Louis Action Research Project (ESLARP). Detailed information about the course is available at www.eslarp.uiuc.edu. Enrollment in this class requires attendance in two in-class sessions (one lecture, one discussion) and one outreach weekend to East St. Louis, IL. The outreach weekend date is April 1 & 2, 2011. Outreach weekends begin at 7 am Friday and end by 9 pm Saturday. Lecture will be offered March 29 from 5pm-6:30pm. Discussion will be offered April 5 from 5pm-6:30pm.
