Examination of the world's animals, domesticated and wild, and their uses in various climatic, economic and cultural contexts. Exploration of their contemporary management and their future prospects. Provides background for international experiences, such as ACES 298 and ACES 299.

Prerequisite: Completion of the campus Composition I general education requirement.
