HERITAGE STUDY TOUR IN INDIA Traveling from January 1-14 2012. The tour of heritage sites in India will cover Mughal and Rajput art, architecture and landscapes of the medieval period. The objectives are to learn about history and culture, observe the current stewardship of historic sites and envision their future in a site planning and design workshop. The workshop will be about developing a framework for conservation of the heritage site, promoting the welfare of resident communities, and interpreting multiple forms of heritage in landscape design. It will be the springboard for LA 336/438 Studio in Spring.
