Credit: 3 hours.

Examines the theoretical and philosophic curricular principles necessary to the development of a sound, professionally grounded, and research-based curriculum for children in grades K-6. Requires planning a variety of developmentally appropriate learning activities that are taught to children during micro-teaching experiences in the field.

Prerequisite: Junior standing or above and enrollment in the Teacher Certification program or consent of the instructor.
