Credit: 3 hours.

Introduction to biology for the non-major. In-depth focus on three contemporary problems-maintaining a livable environment, issues of human health, and evolution. Lecture and discussion.

Credit is not given for both IB 100 and IB 101.

Students must register for one discussion and one lecture section.
