Mentors will receive coaching during the first four weeks of the course about mentor-mentee relationships, before being paired in a mentor-mentee relationship. Designed to build a sense of community, this program will pair female engineering students in a mentoring relationship. Students gain skills in personal and professional development, networking, and community building while participating in mentoring relationships which are critical for sharing and receiving helpful advice about engineering, college life and successful preparation for the future. You will have the opportunity to network with practicing engineers, engineering alumni and engineering faculty members. Topics are pertinent to your personal and professional growth as an engineering student (e.g., past presentations include: Business Etiquette; Dual-Career Couples; Networking).
