Credit: 3 hours.

Microeconomic analysis including value and distribution theory; analysis of the pricing of the factors of production integrated in a micro-general equilibrium context which builds towards explaining the resource allocation process.

Prerequisite: ECON 102 or equivalent. Recommended: MATH 125; one of MATH 220, MATH 221, MATH 234.

First priority for enrollment will be given to students in curricula that require this course.

Section ALA of Econ 302 will meet in lecture three hours a week. In addition, students must register for a discussion section for which attendance will be optional. While attendance at this section will be optional, registration is not optional--students must register for both the lecture and discussion in order to attend and receive credit for the course. Course conflict overrides will not be granted for conflicts with either component of this course.
