Introduction to building technology, materials and methods emphasizing integration of design and technology. Introduces buildings as a network of systems including space, structure and environmental controls operating within a larger context of environment and social function. Skills developed include analysis of building form and function, understanding of design/technology interrelationships, and communication of ideas through drawing.
Prerequisite: Concurrent enrollment in ARCH 271 or ARCH 471.
Students must register for one lab and one lecture section.
