4 HOURS CREDIT WIIND-BAND LITERATURE AND CURRICULUM FOR THE SCHOOL MUSIC EDUCATOR Students will learn the historical development of wind literature, issues with repertoire lists, how to identify quality literature, how to design a comprehensive curriculum and the role of literature in achieving curricular objectives. Restrictions: Music Education Majors in a graduate degree program or consent of the instructor.

RECORDING TECHNIQUES FOR MUSIC EDUCATORS 2 HOURS CREDIT This two-week course is designed to offer music educators information and initial experience required for improving the quality of recordings and/or sound reinforced performances of your ensembles. Topics will include recording/SR equipment, interconnections, compatibility, preferred microphone placements, methods, formats and accessories, and specific vendor sourse - for a more professional result in representing your choral and/or instrumental ensembles.
