Examines the dynamics of United States congressional and presidential campaigns, including electoral rules, campaign organization and finance, candidate strategy, role of parties, interest groups, and the media, campaign effects, and proposals for reform.

Prerequisite: PS 101 or six hours of Political Sciences credit.
