Advanced rotating machine theory and practice, dynamic analysis of machines using reference frame transformations, tests for parameter determination, reduced order modeling of machines; mechanical subsystems including governors, prime movers, excitation systems, and digital simulation of inter-connected machines.
Prerequisite: ECE 431.
