Modern Japanese culture as seen through drama. Special emphasis is given to the period after World War II. Readings in English supplemented by films and videotapes.

Same as CWL 462, RLST 464, and THEA 487. 3 undergraduate hours. 3 or 4 graduate hours. No knowledge of Japanese required. Prerequisite: At least one course on Japanese culture or consent of instructor.
