Introduces fundamental statistics used to analyze and interpret data in the biological and physical sciences of agriculture, environmental sciences, and related areas. Includes descriptive and inferential statistics, measures of central tendency and dispersion, probability, correlation and regression, and tests of hypotheses. Enhances students' ability to critically assess statistical information encountered in professional and every day activities.

Credit is not given for both CPSC 141 and STAT 100 or ACE 261.
