Surveys the histories of ideas in biological anthropology, with a focus on the development of the field in the U.S. Examination of the foundations of contemporary theory, placing these ideas into historical and societal context.
3 undergraduate hours. 4 graduate hours. Prerequisite: ANTH 102, ANTH 240, ANTH 242, ANTH 243 or equivalent.
