This course is designed to give students a general overview of the skills and knowledge needed to facilitate culturally diverse group interactions. The course is open to sophomores, juniors, seniors and graduate students. Students will explore the impact of gender, ethnicity, race, religion, sexual orientation, socioeconomic class, disability and physical appearance on group dynamics. Successful completion of this class is a prerequisite for students who are interested in applying to become PIR facilitators for Intergroup Dialogue classes.

Capstone Internship Psychology

This seminar is for students that have completed an internship during the previous summer. The goal of the seminar is to connect your internship experience with your training in psychology. You will have guidance from distinguished alumni to help you prepare for a successful career. Students will be expected to reflect and build on their internship experience, and to participate in team projects that will facilitate your abilities to communicate in the many different areas open to students with a degree in psychology.
