Foundation course for International Studies majors, introducing students to globalization, the interconnections among people and places as a result of this phenomenon and how globalization has impacted world regions of focus within the Global Studies major. Topics include: processes of globalization, indicators of economic and social development, sustainable development issues, global and geo-politics, cultural integration/coherence and diversity.
