A Discovery Course in which students will explore medicine and medical research through seminar-style lectures and discussions of current events and issues affecting human and animal health. Active learning laboratory activities are integrated with lectures and discussions throughout the semester to further illustrate concepts in biomedicine. First Year Discovery Program course. Registration restricted to freshman. Students should only enroll in one Discovery Course.
