Topic: "Chinese Media" An introduction to Chinese media which includes an overview of the history and structure of the Chinese media system and market, contemporary issues in journalism, the movie industry, the Internet, as well as copyright and intellectual property among other topics. The changing nature of Chinese media in light of recent economic development is also considered. Guest speakers will lecture on specific areas of expertise and research.
