Current knowledge of the biochemical cycles of atmospheric trace gases, their interactions on global and regional scales, and their significance for the chemistry in the atmosphere. The important fundamental concepts that are central to understanding air pollutants, e.g., the formation of aerosols and the transformation and removal of species in the atmosphere, will be introduced.
Same as ATMS 420 and ENVS 450. Prerequisite: CHEM 102; ATMS 201 or CEE 330.
