Credit: 3 hours.

Builds on systems fundamentals to describe, quantify, and model human physiological systems. Examines components, relationships, and homeostatic controls of neural, musculoskeletal, respiratory, cardiovascular, endocrine, digestion, and renal-filtration systems. Mathematical modeling and Matlab simulation are used to further understanding of the systems and relate physiological consequences to changes in environment or component function.

Prerequisite: CS 101, BIOE 205, MATH 285, and MCB 252.
