Credit: 4 hours.

Provides information and skills necessary for the designer to deliver dry, durable and healthful buildings. First half covers theory, including heat transfer, psychrometrics, steady-state diffusion and conduction analysis, and transient analysis. Second half covers building applications: roofs, walls, windows, foundations, and mechanical systems.

Prerequisite ARCH 341 or equivalent.
