Section C: Restricted to Weston Exlporation & LEADS students. This course will consider signficant historical contexts for the practice of leadership, and study the varying ways that power and societal privilege have contributed not only to the current Westernized conceptualization of leadership but to the concept of social justice. They will also engage in a study of ethics and values within the field of leadership study, and learn about emerging field of :social responsible leadership" while engaging in a semester-long project to practice this type of leadership.

Literacy in Ag and Leadership
Section Info:
Will provide overview of agricultural leadership and education career pathways, goals and purposes, and will examine agricultural literacy in secondary, post-secondary and non-schools settings. Topics will include extension, corporate, government, international and industry organizations. Will also provide an overview to the certification requirements, professional development, and current issues for agricultural education professionals. 2 credit hours.
