Section Info:
Asian American Youth. This course will explore the ways that Asian American youth are actively shaping the landscape at the University of Illinois in terms of student identity formation, cultural production, and educational experience. Students will engage with academic texts to provide theoretical perspectives of young people as well conduct first hand research of issues related to Asian American youth on campus. This course will be part of The Ethnography of the University Initiative (EUI). 3 hours Discovery course. Registration restricted to freshmen. Students should enroll in only one Discovery course.
