Introduction to the theories and techniques of pottery analysis for archaeologists. In addition to presentation and discussion of the major literature, there is hands-on practice making, drawing, breaking and analyzing pottery.

3 undergraduate hours. 4 graduate hours. Prerequisite: Either ANTH 220, ANTH 475, or ANTH 476, or consent of instructor.
