Research Methods in Journalism

Credit: 3 hours.

Introduction to social science principles of measurement, sampling, statistical inferences and logic of research design in collection, analysis and interpretation of information used in journalism and mass media.

Prerequisite: Completion of Quantitative Reasoning I and JOUR 200 or graduate standing.
