Ecosystem processes and conservation of coral reefs will also be discussed. One 1 hour lecture per week plus the week-long field trip to Belize at the end of the semester. The field trip will be Sunday May 11-Sunday May 18, 2008. Cost of the field trip is estimated to be $1600 and will be borne by the student. Prerequisite: IB 150 and consent of instructor.
