Dance Kinesiology and Somatics

Credit: 4 hours.

Introduction to human anatomy and kinesiology, specifically as applied to dance; introduction to the field of Somatics; approaches to improving the use of the body; exploration of the connections between the body, the mind, and movement.

Prerequisite: Major standing in dance or consent of instructor.
