Chemical bases of ecological interactions among organisms; topics include the chemical structures and functions of messenger compounds important in inter- and intraspecific interactions among plants, insects, higher animals, fungi, microbes, and their environments. Offered in alternate years. Prerequisite: IB 150 and MCB 150 and CHEM 232; or consent of instructor.
