The Mentoring Class is based upon key elements of mentoring, structured study sessions, and professional skill development. The class will meet weekly for a lecture/discussion where academic and professional skills for success will be covered. Freshmen mentees will be matched with mentors, upperclasspersons from the same department. Mentee/mentor pairs will meet weekly in a structured study session where tutors will be made available. In addition, the pairs will meet outside of class at least once a week.
