CI 408 is the first in a two-course sequence that supports participants in the Secondary Alternative Certification Program during their first-year full-time teaching internship. The course fosters critical reflection and professional growth by providing a forum for problem-posing and problem-solving on issues typically faced by novice teachers.

Prerequisite: Enrollment in the Alternative Certification Program in Secondary Science and Mathematics Teaching.
