Credit: 3 OR 4 hours.

Advanced course on building design for greater performance, including the study of: the anatomical and functional variations of building subsystems and their design implications; inter-system relationships and synergistic integration of building subsystems into the overall building; and the strategies for designing buildings of high functional performance and greater overall value. (Day-long Friday field trips and lab fee).

Term paper is required for 4 hours credit. Prerequisite: Graduate standing in Architecture or consent of instructor.

Additional field trip fee, supply fee and materials fee required.
