Credit: 3 hours.

A follow-up application of safety interventions discussed in either the Ag Safety-Injury Prevention or Ag Health-Illnesses Prevention courses. Interventions include behavioral analysis, injury/illness incident investigation, systems safety analysis, safety communications methodologies and job safety analysis. Students will be required to select one or more intervention methodologies to apply towards an agricultural safety issue in a project they will develop and complete during the semester. Recent agricultural safety and health research studies will be reviewed and discussed in class.

Prerequisite: Proposed TSM 421 or TSM 422.
